The One Verb More Powerful Than Love, Action, and Desire—Can You Guess It?

Published on 12 March 2025 at 15:54

What is, in your opinion, the most powerful verb in the human language?

It’s not to want, nor to be able to. It’s not even to love. Not to do, either. To act? No.

Tell me..... :  To say? More.

More than to desire.

Go ahead.

Did you say it?

TO CHOOSE!!!

Well… that’s a personal opinion, and as such, it’s open to debate. We don’t have to agree that it’s the most powerful verb, of course. But think about it:

You can choose to love or not to love, to speak or to remain silent, to appreciate or to dismiss. You can choose to give your all or to do the bare minimum just to avoid trouble.

To choose is a beautiful verb. We have been given the gift of free will.

We can choose to forgive or not to forgive, to walk into our home with a frustrated face or to enter with a smile. We can choose to bore others with stories of our own day or to ask them about theirs.

For example: Can I talk to you about work?

You can wake up and complain because it’s a beautiful day and you have to go to work.

Or you can wake up and feel happy because it’s a beautiful day.

You choose.
